ORDERING INFORMATION
1. Supply information stamped on balance.
2. First set of numbers represent the tube length of balance (actual tube length is
1/2" longer than number stamped on balance).
3. Second set of number represents the sash weight (balances are pre-tensioned to
the exact weight of sash).
4 Specify color of the tube: Gray (standard), White, Black or Tan.

Installing Balance in Tilt Windows Ultra Lift Balance Tension Tool
1. Mount the balance to the outer frame with a screw (See Figure 1). Do not overtighten screw.
2. Raise the pivot shoe in the jamb channel and insert the balance rod into the shoe rod slot (See Figure 2).
3. Install the sash.
Installing Balance in Non-Tilt Windows
1. Mount balance to outside frame with screw (See Figure 1). Do not overtighten screw.
2. With top stops removed, raise the sash so that the sash brackets protrude below bottom rail.
Pull bracket around sash corner with installation tool (See Figure 3).
3. Attach sash bracket to bottom rail using a minimum of two screws per bracket (See Figure 4).
